- 2007-01-31 02:43:17: No Ranging Response received – T3 time-out (code R002.0)
- 2007-01-31 02:43:22: DHCP WARNING – Non-critical field invalid in response. (code D003.0)
- Down from 2007-02-06 07:03:29 to 2007-02-06 12:35:10
- 2007-02-06 12:33:59: SYNC Timing Synchronization failure – Failed to acquire FEC framing (code T002.0)

That’s four outages in a seven day period. All outages longer than 70 seconds started between 7:03:20 and 7:03:30 AM, and my monitoring system has a ten-second resolution.
I’ve called about every outage. I’ve gotten names, Comcast IDs, and/or phone numbers from everyone I talked to. I’ve asked for a supervisor, been told no one is available, been added to a queue for callback, and have received zero phone calls from Comcast. All they’ve done since December is send out a tech who took a printout of my records to take to his supervisor, who also promised a call I’ve never received.
I feel like this is the sort of thing that the people down at city hall would like to have on file for when it comes time to renew Comcast’s cable operator license.

According to Comcast it should be around 30 dBMv. During my issues it was > 50. In fact around 52 when I called support – Normal range is less than 48 dBMv.
My present range ( upstream ) according to the line tech is that its still high – however at the present level of 48 everything has been much better.
