Ants

I’ve got some ants. Not an awful lot, and they’re getting poisoned at this very moment, so it’s not anything to be concerned with. But, it is a good opportunity to break out my macro lens.

They’re very little ants, too.

   Ants will only persist as long as there is a food source, however they will “learn” to avoid poison. Unless you are spraying some kind of pest killer, then you are just adding toxins that could affect your nervous system. Remove the food source and you remove the ants. Plus they will clean up the food that attracts roaches. Your home’s ecosystem is better served by working with the ants, instead of killing them.

   Certainly. The food source they found originally was discovered and removed. Other potential food sources, including the entire pantry and all of the foods in the kitchen, have been sealed in plastic baggies. After that, poisons were placed in areas not heavily trafficked by people but where ants have been observed.

   They seem to be going away
