Liquid Water on Mars Right Now

NASA TV is holding a conference right now saying that there is liquid water on Mars today. From 240,000 images taken by Mars Global Surveyor, areas of two different craters have had light-colored flow-like areas form in the years between images. The volume of water is estimated to be between 5 and 10 swimming pools in each flow.

Ken—the guy with the neck-beard—called this the “squirting gun” twice. Thought I would mention that.
