How Mac and PC Users Differ
One of my friends bought his first Mac the other day. A 13” Macbook. He worked all summer to pay for school and, ideally, to have a couple bucks left over. He’s a college senior, and is looking to go to law school after he graduates.
After examining his situation, he arrived at the conclusion that law school is going to force him to take out all sorts of loans. Once he graduates, he’s not going to have any money—which is exactly why he bought the Macbook when he did. Take the educational discount, throw in an iPod nano, and you’re out around $1150 after tax and rebate.
He got the Macbook at the Apple store near campus, drove home, plugged it in, and we were in a video chat in under 10 minutes.

Mac users like using their computers. Ultimately, we use our computers for the same things as everyone else, but we enjoy the journey.
